In our dry desert environment, water is our most precious resource. From the moment it leaves the homes, schools, churches and businesses in our community, the wastewater makes its way down the network to our water reclamation facility, where we treat and reclaim every drop with care. Wherever appropriate, this valuable resource is reused for irrigation and industrial use.

At our main facility on Flamingo, as well as at Desert Breeze satellite facility, wastewater undergoes rigorous physical, chemical and biological treatment processes to ensure safety for use on parks, community golf courses, playing fields, schools, power generation plants and construction dust control. Reclaimed water meets extremely high water quality standards and is safe for contact.

At the Clark County Water Reclamation District, our mission is to manage reclaimed water as a resource. This means working hard to meet the reclaimed water needs of our community today and carefully planning for the role this precious resource will play in our future.
